Under the direction of the Office of Planning and Advancement, the office of Advancement for Student Development is responsible for fundraising, strategic planning and donor relations and student consultations on fundraising for the Division of Student Development. Building relationships and identifying opportunities that strengthen and enhance student-centered, non-academic programs is at the forefront of this department's mission while maintaining the highest of ethical standards.
Working together with donors, program staff, and team members, we are making a dynamic difference in the lives of the University's diverse student body.
Accomplishments
Our recent accomplishments include:
- Over $635,000 in scholarship money raised in 2007-2008
- Developed $60,000 in sponsorships for Student Orientation, Parent Orientation, Family Weekend. Mean Green Fling and Eagle Camp for 2007-2008
- $1.9 million Title III Grant to support "A Model for Engaged Student Learning: Strengthening Academic Programs and Institutional Management"—combining academic core course redesign and student tracking and support outside the classroom
- Raised over $440,000 for the Student Money Management Center Student Loan Programs to name the Bailey Legacy Loan Program
- Raised over $375,000 for Chestnut Hall
